SUMMARY:
Our client is looking to hire a Payroll Clerk for their branch in Cape Town soonest.

VIP Premier or any similar package experience is a must and will count in your favour.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

You will be assisting the Payroll Administrator with their duties by means of admin-related tasks set out by management on a daily basis. 

This will be done via using the VIP system and keeping a firm grasp on all the admin-related matters that need attention. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Make sure employees get paid on time and that all data is kept up to date.
  • Strong Numeracy skills are required for you to do your day-to-day responsibilities. 
  • Must have knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
  • Must be able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working in a payroll office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs. (VIP Payroll or related software)
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
  • Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Team Player
