Payroll Clerk - Ballito
POSITION INFO:
Our client an upmarket residential estate is looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Upload new employees onto the Time and Attendance System • Verifying employee clockings and uploading hours onto the VIP Premier Payroll for processing• Validating rosters against clocking, submission of leave forms to HR for processing • Processing of wages, overtime, allowances, increases, new starters, terminations, transfers, bonuses and appropriate deductions • Ensuring appropriate backups are made and copy systems created • Responsible for EMP501 reconciliation • Submitting all statutory payments to finance for payment (UIF, SDL and EMP201) and third party payments • Promptly attending to all payroll queries • Ensuring that all outsourced labour timesheets are accurate, correct and invoices approved by the HR Manager are submitted to finance for payment • Collating the relevant information and forwarding to the benefits consultants in cases of employee death and employee provident fund withdrawals • Assisting employees with labour documents as and when required (UI19, UI2.7, Remuneration schedule) • Assisting with IOD forms when required • Quarterly submission of Run STATS SA to Statistics SA • Monthly submission of electronic UIF reports • Maintenance of employee files and uploading employee information on the system • Assisting with general administration within the accounts/HR office as required
Requirements
• Matric
• 5 years’ experience as a payroll clerk
• Knowledge and experience on a Time and Attendance System
• Experience on VIP Premier Payroll
• Advanced knowledge on MS Excel and MS Word
• Driver’s license and own vehicle, as travel on the Estate would be required
