SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Payroll Clerk for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with Payroll / HR related qualification
3 Years VIP Payroll & Uniclox experience as well as MIBCO & MEIBC submissions
Advanced MS Excel skills and good MS Word ability
Finance experience advantageous
Willing to work overtime when required

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Run weekly and monthly payroll – process wages, print payslips, reports, back up & roll over
Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
Maintain / process third party deductions – garnishes & admin orders
Capturing leave and info for quarterly SA Statistics
Retrieve / process daily, weekly & monthly clockings
Update & process monthly MIBCO, MEIBC forecasts / returns
Month end wage journals & accruals
Leave / bonus pay accruals

Salary: R12 500.00 – R14 000.00 per month
