My client in Krugersdorp is looking for a robust, vivacious, energetic individual with min 4-5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing industry. Must be able to handle pressure with excellent attention to detail skills. Top-notch payroll skills required.

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR & COORDINATOR

KRUGERSDORP

 

My client based in Krugersdorp and a giant in the manufacturing industry has an excellent opportunity available for a Payroll Administrator & Coordinator.  They offer a highly competitive salary, Medical Aid contribution (Discovery);  pension/provident;  13th cheque; 2 x annual incentives.  You must have excellent experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.

 

BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Good VIP Payroll experience.
  • Preparation of reports for the authorisation of the payroll payment.
  • Process travel claims.
  • Process leave forms
  • Induction of new employees.
  • Process resignations from medical aid and pension/provident fund.
  • Deduct garnishee orders from employees and pay garnishee creditors.
  • Experience in processing disability and death claims.
  • Process and pay all personal loans.
  • Handle disability claims, death benefits and funeral claims for all companies.
  • Control contracts for FTC’s
  • Control leave forfeiture letters
  • Experience with withdrawal notifications to pension/provident funds
  • Download salary account from SAP onto Excel
  • Excellent Excel knowledge
  • Do cheque/EFT requisitions capturing on Excel for Garnishees
  • Do bursary general ledger reconciliation.
  • Experience on VIP vs SAP reconciliation for ALL payroll companies
  • Update working rosters
  • Handle disability claims, death benefits and funeral claims
  • Control contracts for FTC’s
  • Control leave forfeiture letters
  • Assist staff on Medical Aid queries, including new members
  • Experience applicable to UI19 forms
  • Handle distribution of Benefits Statements
  • Have Labour Statistics experience
  • Use Electronic Filing system library of final monthly timecards
  • Audit payroll and ensure legislative compliance
  • Create, maintain and close personnel files for salaried staff
  • Familiar with clerical and arithmetic accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Familiar with benefits and amending rates on VIP/offering info to new staff.
  • Experience in retirements, retrenchments and application of tax directives from SARS
  • Handle annual salary increases/bonus payments
  • Recover money from unsuccessful Bursars
  • Experience with HR reports:  OCSA, DAI & Monthly name list of employees who have left service (and reasons)
  • Serve as liaison between the Support Centre & Factory Manager/Payroll & Admin co-ordinator for all payroll related issues
  • Respond to question from public and provide information e.g., confirming employment
  • Experience with WCA – W/C12 form, 12-month payslips and earning on Resumption Reports
