Payroll Administrator (Wages and Salaries) – Western Cape S/Subs

R 15 000 – R 17 000  Per month  CTC plus Benefits

Start Immediately! 6 Month contract

Our Client, a Reputable Engineering Firm is currently expanding their Payroll division.

One would describe you as a self-motivated, accurate, deadline driven and numerically inclined individual who has the ability to work well under pressure, is accustomed to working with a large number of employees and has a passion for delivering excellent payroll administration services.

You have experience with payroll administration in a medium-sized company and can demonstrate an innovative approach to your work.

Qualification and experience required:

• Matric Certificate with mathematics as a subject
• Basic Accounting knowledge and understanding
• 5 years payroll administration experience at an advanced level
• Proficient on MS Excel (intermediate)
• Working knowledge of Buildsmart would be an advantage!
• Working Efiling and e@syfiling knowledge is essential
• Previous experience within the construction | engineering | related technical industry would be a positive!

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a payroll clerk to ensure that the collection and accurate compilation of employee hours, on a weekly and monthly basis is achieved
• Timeous updating of employee data
• Evaluate the accuracy of data and information flow
• Liaising with sites and employees on a daily basis
• Bulk data capturing and reconciling relevant financial reports
• Gathering of absenteeism information and scrutinizing this information for validity
• Employee leave administration
• Accurate reporting
• Payslip analysis
• Overseeing payslip distribution
• Monthly payments to third parties in respect of Medical aid, Provident fund, etc
• Monthly reporting in respect of overtime and other ad hoc reports
• Month end filling
• Monthly EMP201 submissions
• Bi-Annual EMP501 submissions and IRP5 generation and distributio
