Payroll Administrator (Remote)

SUMMARY:
Amazing opportunity if you would like to work in the comfort of your own home. Our client is on the lookout for an excellent Payroll Administrator who can hit the ground running. We are needing a self-starter who has the ability to work without supervision.

POSITION INFO:

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of site payroll staff

Process multiple payrolls in an accurate, compliant and timely manner

Identify, analyse and correct discrepancies

Administer engagements, terminations and amendments to employee status

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports

Maintain compliance with prevailing legislation, tax laws

Maintain employee and statutory data, including accurate leave, rates of pay and deduction information

Administer benefit funds

Administer deductions and payroll-related liabilities timeously and by due dates

Submit all returns and reports timeously

Maintain best practice and develop staff

Liaise with site staff with regards to the timely submission of timesheets and discrepancies

Facilitate and maintain clocking system

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 years payroll experience

Knowledge of statutory payroll deductions (PAYE, UIF, SDL, COID)

Must have experience running large payrolls

Sage 300 People (Non-negotiable)

Qualification:

Matric

Payroll certificate
