SUMMARY:
Opportunity available!! Our client in the Automotive sector is looking to employ a dynamic Payroll Administrator to join their team in East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description: 
Wages Administrator Functions:
Administration: Weekly and Monthly Payroll:
  • Processing wages by collecting, calculating and entering data
  • Print and sort payslips
  • Print required reports
  • Back up and roll over
  • Tend to payroll related enquiries from staff and financial institutes
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
  • Maintain and process third party deduction (admin and month end preparation)
  • New garnishees
  • Administration Orders
  • Capturing leave for various leave types and maintaining leave module
  • Compile information for Quarterly SA Statistics
  • Maintain clocking systems and retrieving and processing of daily, weekly and monthly clocking’s
  • Updating and processing of monthly MIBCO forecasts
  • Compiling month end waged journals and accruals. Maintaining leave and bonus pay accruals.

Other Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when required to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain clean, safe work environment and good housekeeping within your department.

Job Requirements: 
  • Grade 12
  • Payroll / HR related qualification is a requirement
  • Financial experience is considered an advantage

Minimum Training and Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years proficient VIP Payroll experience is a requirement and must be substantiated by valid proof (certificate)
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills is a requirement; together with working knowledge of MS word
  • A minimum of 3 years proficient experience on the Uniclox System is a requirement; and must be substantiated by proof (certificate).
  • Finance related experience for a minimum of 2 years would be an advantage
