SUMMARY:
Our client in Rustenburg is recruiting  for a Payroll Administrator

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Payroll or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous
  • At least two (2) years’ payroll experience
  • Proficient in SAP HR / Payroll Experience
  • Extensive Microsoft Excel experience
  • Effective internal / external communication (Written and Verbal)
  • Willing to work extended hours when necessary
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitasking
 

Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters.
  • Managing electronic timekeeping systems or manually collecting and reviewing timesheets.
  • Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Preparing and issuing earnings statements.
  • Issuing paychecks and managing direct deposits.
  • Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
  • Providing administrative assistance to the finance department.
  • Filing tax and voluntary deduction reports
  • Processing levies and garnishments
  • Preparing accounting transactions and documents
  • Documenting and updating procedures
  • Preparing Monthly reports for management
  • Maintaining employee/payroll records
  • Auditing timekeeping records to ensure compliance
  • Entering new hires into the payroll system
  • Posting changes in pay and tax status
