Payroll Administrator

SUMMARY:
We urgently seek a candidate with at least 7 years experience within a corporate environment and excellent monthly payroll experience. You will be responsible for administering payroll, ensuring correct payments to employees and vendors, as well as cost allocation to finance.

POSITION INFO:

Group Payroll Administrator (Urgent contract role)

We urgently seek a candidate with at least 7 years experience within a corporate environment and excellent monthly payroll experience. You will be responsible for administering payroll, ensuring correct payments to employees and vendors, as well as cost allocation to finance.

Minimum Requirements include:

• Matric
• Diploma in Payroll
• 7+ years payroll experience in a large corporate with at least +/-900 employees
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Legislative knowledge in Payroll

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Data capturing and processing of monthly payrolls
• Full function administration on new engagements, terminations and transfers.
• Monthly reconciliations of all output data against input received
• Quality assurance on monthly input
• Submissions of Pension & Provident Fund documents
• Maintaining relationships with service providers and internal stakeholders
• Process payroll according to internal policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with helpdesk experts on complex payroll issues.
• Ensuring payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely; ensuring proper calculation of taxes and deductions.
• Working with Payroll Accounting to clear and reconcile items.
• Participating in year-end process including year-end adjustments, year-end tax statements and review of year-end tax filing information.

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg

Duration: 12 Month contract
