SUMMARY:

Provide a full day-to-day payroll function by transacting, processing payroll accounting system and preparing payroll account reconciliations.

Purpose of the Job: Provide a full day-to-day payroll function by transacting, processing payroll accounting system and preparing payroll account reconciliations.
 
Key Performance Areas (KPA’s):
- Provide a cost-effective payroll administration service compliant with corporate governance and statutory requirements
- Provide an effective and efficient salary processing administrative function
- Process monthly salaries and salary related transactions
- Process payable time and attendance, overtime, bonuses, tax, PAYE, UIF, EMP 201, 501, Skills Levies etc
- Process employee advances and/or other payroll related instructions
- Payroll Reconciliation
- Conduct Tax computation and Tax derivatives
- Payroll Reconciliation
- Assist with payroll queries and resolution
- Third-party administration. Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
 
Minimum Requirements: Matric, plus Payroll Certification at least 5 years work experience in a similar role; multi company payroll and proficiency in Sage VIP Premier.
Other competencies and requirements: The candidate must demonstrate - Good communication, analytical, capturing and processing skills. The candidate must be professional, have the ability to comprehend policies and processed, be accurate and time driven.
Reporting Level: Finance Manager.                                            Location: Midrand, Gauteng.
