Payroll Administrator

SUMMARY:
A JSE listed Property Company is looking for a Payroll Administrator, who comes from the Property Industry to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deal with any payroll and benefits queries.
• Management of benefits statements and ensuring that schedules reconcile with benefits statements and payroll schedules.
• Dealing with provident fund company and medical aid service providers.
• Ensure that all employee policies are adhered to and that all legislative requirements are met.
• Understand the requirements of payroll.
• Processing of payroll amounts on a monthly basis.
• Calculate overtime payments due.
• Calculating commissions, bonuses, tax and deduction.
• Reconciling the provident fund with the fund managers reports.
• Ensure that staff leave is monitored and that staff are informed when they go into minus days.
• Review and calculate time sheets data and hours worked.
• Assist with the preparation of payslips and any requirements around payroll.
• Submission and distribution of IRP5’sBuild good relationship with Pastel and the banks.
• Assist with information gathering with various HR deliverables (i.e. EE plan reporting, SDL reporting etc).
• Preparation of salary, bonus and increase schedules and supporting employee letters.
• Preparation of accumulated leave schedules and payments.
• Onboarding and exiting employees from system.
Effectively gather and prepare remuneration information for processing.

Qualifications and experience
•3- 5 years in payroll
• Solid experience in Sage Pastel Payroll
• A diploma and/or degree in finance or payroll beneficial
