Payroll Administrator

One of South Africa’s leading sports and outdoor brands is looking for a highly motivated Payroll Administrator to join the Payroll Department at their Head Office based in Cape Town. POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities and Daily Duties

• Accurate import / data capture of time and attendance records
• Performing required reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Enrolment of new employees and accurate capturing of personal information
• Accurate processing of any employee changes - transfers, promotions, terminations
• Complete, verify and process pension and provident fund documentations
• Complete, verify and process medical aid documentations
• Resolve any payroll related queries in a timely fashion
• Month end reconciling, reporting and sense checking
• Advise the business on payroll related policies and procedures
• Produce payslips on time
• Ensure salary and wage payments are executed on time
• Ontime submission of EMP501 and other statutory documentation to regulatory bodies
• Payroll Journals and Reconciliations

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of SAGE 300 People advantageous
• Strong computer literacy
• Strong numerical and analytical Skills
• Strong organising skills and excellent timekeeping
• Strong attention to detail, meticulous and accuracy
• Solid track record with working in a highly confidential environment
• Basic knowledge of South African employment laws and employee tax regulations

• R10 000 – R15 000 per month
