Payroll Administrator (contract basis) with experience in metal industry required for company based in Benoni

Requirements

• Must be available to start immediately
• VIP Premier Courses and experience
• Must have experience doing payrill in metal industry
• Non-smoker
• Good working knowledge of MS Office

Duties

• Weekly wages Payroll Processing
• Payroll engagements and terminations
• Metal Industry Benefits Fund Association (MIBFA) processing
• Workplace Skills Plan & Annual Training Report
• Employment Equity Report
• Payroll reconciliations – Provide explanations and follow up on the following;
• RMA & WCA IOD Days Claims
• PAYE, UIF, SDL
• Staff debtors, Advanced cheques & other payroll related reconciling items
• Get Annual Wage Payroll related updated rates from relevant authorities for;
• Provident fund rate
• Perks Tax rate
• NUMSA rate
• Administration levy rate
• Sick fund rate
• Dispute levy rate
• Ensure that all Annual & Adhoc payroll updates are done on VIP before processing for the new year/ month
• Injury On Duty claims
• Monthly Payroll returns and EFTS for payment
• Monthly UIF reconciliations and filing /submissions
• Monthly Salary journal for financials
• Monthly Headcount Report
• Monthly Overtime Report
• Requesting Tax Directives on e-filing as required
• Ensure employee Work visas/ permits are valid at all times
• ODBC Reports as required
• Address all payroll related queries
• Maintain an efficient and up-to-date Filing system
• Assist with relevant employee information for BEE & ESG reporting
• Assist with Annual Financial Audit on payroll related matters
• Ad-hoc tasks as requested by management
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time
