Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities (English); ability to communicate independently with the client, build strong client relationships
• Relevant Diploma / Degree (Accounting, Finance)
• Experience in Financial administration
• 2+ years Accounts Payable and/or Payments experience
• Very good Procurement understanding
• Strong work ethic and goal-oriented with strong time management skills
• Strong problem-solving orientation for continual improvement opportunities
• Ability to manage & adapt to changes in the team
• Ability to multitask, self-manage, and be highly organized
• Advanced computer skills: Oracle experience would be a plus, MS Office (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills) required

Key Responsibilities

• Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
• Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports
• Maintain historical records by filing documents for audit purposes
• Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, invoice or payment discrepancies, and documentation
• Protect organization by keeping information confidential
• Identify, support & drive automation and improvement initiatives (to work methods, processes & systems)
• Ensure knowledge sharing updates are made and communicated to the team timeously
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Provide contingency support to client resources when out of office
• Effectively collaborate with the experienced resources/onboarding specialists to onboard newly acquired entities
• Track and ensure completion of critical & out of cycle requests
• Collaborate as needed with other teams to ensure all queries/escalations are closed off
• Provide accurate feedback to requestors; communicate the root causes, trends, and solutions for issues raised
• Daily monitoring and management of tasks, invoice payment aging & targets to ensure SLAs & KPIs are met/exceeded
• Provide general assistance relating to daily processing queries which may arise
• Attend daily meetings with client
• Provide reporting including interpretation, trends, and root causes to assist the manager in preparation for weekly, monthly & quarterly meetings
• Build & maintain a good professional relationship with client and team members
