SUMMARY:
Experienced Patternmaker required to join supplier in the Fashion industry.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Interpret brief and create Digital Patterns
Leasing with inhouse QA, merchandisers and Sample hands on garment construction and adjustments.
Check garments and verify that quality and measurements are to spec.
Once fit is approved, prepare pattern for PPS.
Ensuring maximum fabric utilisation on markers/ratings
Working with a team of 4 and under a supervisor
Working with production with regards to the pattern, construction and measurements with any problems that may occur

Skill Set:

Min 5 years experience across Ladies Retail and Kids Retail fashion (Ladies Retail fashion essential)
Working knowledge of Lectra or Gerber is essential
Working knowledge of iSync is advantage
Ability to read specs and grading is essential
Strong technical knowledge required in pattern and garment construction Sewing and construction knowledge
Working with large volumes in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
