A new Patisserie bakery in Big Bay Cape Town is looking for two bakers. What makes this new bakery so unique is that their recipes are plant-based, and their specialty is doughnuts. Our client is looking for two young and vibrant individuals who can grow with the company and bring their ideas and creative energy to the table.

Responsibilities

• Baking
• Opening or closing the shop
• Running the shop in partnership with the manager
• Dealing with customers in a retail environment
• Maintaining hygiene standards
• Sales

Requirements:

• • Minimum 1 years certificate as a Patisserie baker -Diploma in culinary patisserie school
  • Practical baking (including all methods of cake-making, biscuits and pastries)
  • Bread-making and yeast products
  • Baking theory
  • Decorative mediums
  • Hygiene and safety
  • Kitchen maintenance
  • Workplace training
  • Vegan baking a big plus!
  • Own transport 
  •  Must enjoy developing new products from time to time
  • Positive attitude of utmost important
