PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE

Salary: R17 000 per month

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join a luxury hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing exceptional pastry creations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain health, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Control quality, quantity, and cost of all pastry items.
• Manage stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to the Sous Chef.
• Ensure correct storage and handling of food in line with HACCP standards.
• Prepare fresh mise-en-place daily and ensure timely service.
• Maintain excellent presentation and portion control standards.
• Assist in optimizing kitchen efficiency while maintaining quality.
• Promote teamwork and a positive working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 and Chef Certificate/Diploma.
• 1–2 years' previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Professional approach with colleagues and distinguished clientele.
• Friendly, reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
