Pastry Chef

Duties should be but not limited to:

Creating new and exciting desserts to renew the menu and engage the interest of our customers
Decorating pastries using different icing, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
A chef that can tweak the menu as the client has always had a good name for food.
Check quality of material and conditions of equipment and devices used for cooking.
 
Requirement and skills:
 
They need to have been trained at a reputable school.
Certification in recognized culinary arts, pastry making, baking or relevant field. 
The ideal candidate should be young students looking for a steppingstone job but able to stick it out – before going into the big wide, scary world. 
In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrients.
