JOB DESCRIPTION:

Parts Sales Rep

Location: East Rand

Salary: R30 000 – R37 000CTC

DUTIES:

Manage, develop and grow company market share with increased sales. Focus on building strong internal relationships by providing superior support, identifying new business opportunities and increasing profitability.
Responsible to work with Sales, Finance, Logistics, CSC’s and Parts Marketing to manage all the performance KPI’s coherently for the earthmoving parts sales functions. This includes high level cross functional analyses of KPI’s to identify trends and root causes and to work with the different teams to improve performance.
Manage and report market, industry trends though market research and analysis of competitive parts pricing and sales dynamics
Continually search and implement efficient and effective ways to improve parts practices and communication with internal customers
Management, analysis and commentary of lost parts sales reports
Identify market opportunities and customer spending gaps. Co-create Campaigns and promotions to expand Company’s market share.
Ensure all systems, policies & procedures are being followed & internal control framework standards are met
Analyse and prepare monthly Parts Sales forecast and upload.
Prepare of monthly reports of sales KPI.
Prepare customer and branch gap analysis reports on parts availability as and when required
Assist parts sales team with system errors and clearing errors.

Facilitate parts pricing alignment by researching, communicating and maintaining benchmark pricing database

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Tertiary commercial/financial/marketing business qualification
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Have a passion for the aftermarket
Must be prepared and able to travel extensively to conduct training both locally and internationally
Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, power point, Excel-advanced)
SAP & MAPICS knowledge and Experience is Required.
Highly organized and good communication skills is essential

Strong understanding of Earthmoving equipment Parts
Applicants must have at least 8 years’ experience in the parts sales operation

Applicants must be self-motivated, be able to prioritise, work independently and adhere to deadlines
