Parts Counter Sales (Durban, KZN)
POSITION INFO:
Role Purpose:
vTo be part of a successful branch parts operation by selling parts over the counter or by phone to meet or exceed target revenue and margins.
vTo consistently provide service excellence to both internal and external parts customers.
vTo report lost sales and regularly follow up on competitor pricing and availability.
vTo work closely with the service department to ensure the speedy resolution to their parts queries and requirements at the lowest cost but with the highest levels of quality.
vTo work with the National Inventory Control Specialist to control the stocking, reordering and availability of Mitsubishi parts to ensure availability standards and KPI’s are achieved.

Skills and Experience (Minimum requirements):
vParts qualification or at least 3 years’ counter sales experience.
vRelevant computer skills including email, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
vUsed to working to and achieving deadlines monthly.

Duties and Responsibilities :
vTo make calls to existing customers and sub dealers to generate sales of parts, tyres, forks, and other related items so as to ensure that revenue targets and margins are achieved monthly.
vTo receive calls from customers and technicians and to assist with the supply and/or sale of parts, tyres, forks and other related items.
vTo handle parts queries and issues for technicians ensuring that they are dispatched on time with the correct parts.
vTo provide Parts, tyres and fork quotes when required and to follow up on all quotes to convert into a sale.
vTo report lost parts sales and to maintain a lost sale report.
vTo request inter Branch transfers of parts and follow up to ensure that they are received as promised.
vTo load backorders onto the system.
vTo follow up on backorders to ensure that they are received and dispatched as promised.
vTo ensure that all quotes for parts, forks and tyres are followed up and billed correctly.
vTo manage and maintain the parts stores and to bin, pick and pack parts.
vTo carry out parts stock taking from time to time as requested including van stocks.
vTo ensure that stock losses and dead stock are within KPI levels.
vTo assist the credit controllers to resolve debtors queries so that debtors KPI’s are achieved.
vTo be part of good people management ensuring that all staff have a formal balanced scorecard and that the required performance reviews are conducted twice a year.
vTo follow health and safety, environmental and company standards and policies.
