SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Parts Buyer to join our team in the transport industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Parts Buyer (transport or automotive industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of truck and trailer parts
- Experience in stock control and inventory management
- Ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers
- Strong administrative and record-keeping skills
- Computer literate (procurement / inventory systems an advantage)
Key Responsibilities:- Source and purchase truck and trailer parts
- Manage stock levels, stock control, and reorder points
- Ensure accurate inventory records
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of parts to minimize vehicle downtime
- Process purchase orders and invoices
- Maintain supplier and stock records
Package:- Basic salary: R15,000 – R20,000 (depending on experience)
