Parts Buyer (Clerk)

SUMMARY:
Earth-moving construction industry experience essential!

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of construction equipment / earthmoving equipment
• More than 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Order parts for construction equipment plant and vehicles
• In charge of ordering and managing the oils store on site
• Ensuring the products are delivered on time
• Stock control
• Research, select and purchase quality products and materials
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing
• Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels
• Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery
• Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management
