They are currently looking to welcome a highly skilled Para-planner to join their dynamic Johannesburg team.

Purpose of the Position

In this role, you will provide critical technical support to the advisory team and ensure the seamless, compliant operation of all advice processes within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis & Strategy: Prepare comprehensive financial needs analyses (Risk, Pre-retirement, and Post-retirement) and draft bespoke investment proposal documents.

• Compliance & Administration: Ensure client files strictly comply with POPI, FICA, and FAIS legislation. Perform quality control on all quotations and submissions.

• Portfolio Management: Review client portfolios, prepare review files, and oversee the entire implementation process while following up on submitted instructions.

• Client & Stakeholder Relations: Manage client relationships, set up review appointments, and interact professionally with clients and product providers to gather input.

• Research: Conduct continuous research on various new and existing investment and risk products.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

• B.Com. Honours in Financial Planning OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

• A Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation—or actively working towards it—will be a significant advantage.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Para-planner role within wealth management.

• Advanced computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, PowerPoint).

• Proficiency in Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) and Investment Analysis tools.

• Experience utilizing X-Plan as an FNA tool is highly advantageous.
