Para-planner / Assistant to Financial Advisor

SUMMARY:
Our client an independent wealth management firm based in Cape Town that offers a full range of Investment and Private banking services for the private investor both domestically and internationally is looking for a Para-planner / Assistant to Financial Advisor

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in financial services or related sector
• Excellent time management & communication skills.
• Proven track record in dealing with clients and team management
• Proven ability to work in a team, coping with pressure and setbacks.
• Ability to work proactively and with minimal supervision, following instructions, procedures and policies, and keep to schedules delivering work on time.
• English mother tongue. Knowledge of another language will be considered an asset.
• Understand products and services offered by the business

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Private banking and para-planning
• Analysis of portfolio and fund performances
• Portfolio monitoring and investment report collating
• Preparation of client meetings
• Operation ability and execution of investment instructions
• Internal compliance and client services
• Housekeeping and filing systems
