SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the automotive sector, seeks to employ x2 Paint Supervisors. Positions based in Kariega.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Comply with required production STAKA requirements
Analyse protocol
Ensure production processes are followed according to working instructions and procedures
Instruct personnel if instructions are not being followed
Ensure the general safety in the work area and prepare accident reports
Responsible for general work area tidiness
If production deficiency, deploy personnel to clean work areas
Conduct worxcell meetings about quality issues relayed back from the customer
Initiate countermeasures to avoid mistakes
Direct and support hourly personnel in achieving goals of efficient paint processes
Initiate and drive to identify actions needed to autonomously run a production shift

Requirements:

Grade 12 and recognised tertiary diploma essential
Min 3-5 years' experience working in a leadership position
Min 3-5 years' experience in a production environment
Knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and practices
Proven leadership experience with running a shift
Good report writing skills
