POSITION INFO:

My Client is currently looking for a Paint Supervisor with paint experience in the automotive Industry and leadership experience

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Be able to comply with required production STAKA requirements
• Analyse protocol
• Ensure production processes are followed according to working instructions and procedures
• Instruct personnel if instructions are not being followed
• Ensure the general safety in the work area and prepare accident reports
• Responsible for general work area tidiness
• If production deficiency, deploy personnel to clean work areas
• Conduct Worxcell meetings about quality issues relayed back from customers
• Initiate countermeasures to avoid mistakes
• Direct & support hourly personnel in achieving goals for efficient paint processes
• Initiative and drive to identify actions needed to autonomously run a production shift

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 and a recognized tertiary Diploma
• Highly computer literate
• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a Supervisory/Management role
• Knowledge of plastics manufacturing practices and processes
• Previous leadership experience with running a shift
