SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Paint Plant Engineer in Rosslyn

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ensure adherence to project and timing plans in line with the product development timing programs.
• Ensure the process and industrial Engineering activities are performed to meet project and quality planning requirements.
• To ensure a high standard in the introduction of paint technology, recipes, painting process, facilities and equipment in the Paint Plant.
• Develop new Painted plastic products, utilizing new and current technology to enable local and international competition in line with Business plan.
• BOM/cycle time audits and process input changes.
• Conduct new trails.
• Process Training to be done to shopfloor personal.
• Implement and obtain ISIR/PSW approvals on new or changed products.
• Robot programming and training for required personal.
• Track and oversee all plant para meters and controls to ensure plant is operating at peak and to all set specifications.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

• Paint technology / Plant Polymer technologist/ mechanical Engineering.
• Min 5 years experience in process & industrial Paint technology in the Automotive manufacturing automotive industry.
• Min 5 years Paint Robotic application and programming experience at an Automotive Painting facility.
