SUMMARY:
Solid wholesaler in the East of Johannesburg has an attractive role available in their growing team for a Packaging Team Leader.Ã‚Â

POSITION INFO:

Analysis of the packaging performance to ensure that the product is produced consistently within the acceptable quality standards first time right.
To confirm the effectiveness of the business quality management system.
To ensure the safety of employees and zero accidents occur to employees on duty.
To ensure legal compliance with the OHS Act.
To ensure line efficiencies aligned with business requirements
To ensure that the required products are delivered to the consumer on time in full without quality defects.
To manage and control manpower spend while ensuring that the budget is not exceeded.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma / N6 Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 4 years’ experience (3 years production experience post qualification) in a bottling plant.
3 years as a Team Leader
ISO 9001
Must have knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such TPM, Six Sigma and WCM
