JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, seeks to employ a supervisor to lead the manufacturing of packaging for consumer and FMCG goods.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate who is multi-skilled in both staff supervision, as well as machinery maintenance and quality control of various packaging materials

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in leading a team within a diverse packaging production facility
You will have a keen eye for detail, able to problem solve and ensure the highest quality standards of end products to eliminate waste and report on non-conformances.
You will have a thorough understanding of machinery maintenance, as well as being able to train operators in both the production process and the maintenance of equipment.
You will be energetic, motivating and be able to mentor and communicate effectively
You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
