Unique opportunity for an Engineer or solid Commercial degree to join an established FMCG business, with product sold both in SA and International markets.

This is a Cape Town based opportunity.

Core involvements include:

• The Packaging Manager will work closely with the Packaging Director and alongside packaging design specialists on primary, secondary and tertiary packaging development.
• The role will co-ordinate the process of creating bespoke packaging, from initial concept design and 3D prototyping to final print, production and manufacture.
• This person would also integrate / work closely with an in-house design team

Ideally the team is looking for :

• Strong university degree - Engineering or Commercial Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years’ experience in Packaging
• Strong technical orientation; high attention to detail; an appreciation for clean functional design; an aptitude for solving complex problems with simple, process driven solutions; and an ability to plan and lead cross-team projects.
