Packaging Manager: Dairy

SUMMARY:

A private farm, situated in the Breede River Valley, who produces and packages various dairy products; offers an opportunity for an experienced Packaging Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

• Supervision of packaging personnel
• Ensure that quality standards are maintained on the packaging floor
• Cooperation with quality-, production-, cold storage- and logistics-staff
• Ensure packaging output targets are met
• General administrative duties

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• A Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
• 2-5+ years experience in similar role
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Good knowledge in food safety & HACCP
• Good mechanical understanding

 

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Fully bilingual
• Strong communication skills
