PV Solar Project Manager

SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about Solar? Join a distinguished company as a Project Manager for Solar PV projects. You will be responsible for ensuring quality of work on site and for commercial Rooftop Solar PV projects.

POSITION INFO:

Project management scheduling

Managing of commercial and industrial projects

Responsible for Solar rooftop projects 100KW to 100MW

Responsible for reviewing and ensuring subcontractors work is per design specifications

Ensure PV Solar project is delivered as per client requirements in terms of quality and within deadlines

Checking quality of work onsite

Liaising with clients and subcontractors on progress of projects

Design and review project applications

Signing off of payment certificates

Skills & Experience:

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)

Must have experience dealing with subcontractors on site

Must have experience in dealing with clients and conducting progress reports

Must have a passion for Solar

Must be computer literate (Excel, word, etc)

Experience with simulation software such as Helioscope, PV Syst or PV Sol is advantageous

Must have experience in Project management

Minimum 3 – 6 years’ experience

Qualification:

BSc / BEng / BTech Electrical/Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering

Professionally Registration with ECSA is advantageous

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
