PV Sales Engineer

SUMMARY:
An elite and commercial solar company is looking for a driven and ambitious individual with an excellent sales performance track record, to join their distinguished company. Identify new clients and be able to sell a technical PV Solution and Battery Back Ups to various Commercial Clients.

POSITION INFO:

Lead the sales department

Reporting to the COO and Managing Director

Improving procedures and processes

Lead sales with the purpose to build a productive team

Liaise with clients and potential clients

Conducting visits to clients to procure new projects and clients

Managing external sales agents

Managing internal sales staff

Managing sales administration

Oversee and give design specifications to the Design Team

Prepare quotations for clients

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5-10 years’ Renewable Sales experience

Excellent communication skills

Extensive technical and electrical knowledge of Solar and implementation of solar specific projects and solutions (essential)

Good track record of positive sales performance

A drive and passion to build the business unit (both internal and external sales)

Financially and business driven

The ability to take initiative and be creative

Excellent people and management skills

Commercially minded

Qualification:

BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical OR Mechatronic Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
