Job Description

Reporting to the Director, you will be required to:

Do client liaison and recording, interpreting and processing the design brief.
Create high quality presentation visuals for approval by client.
Design of a once off prototype / sample units.
Produce relevant documentation for production team E.g. Engineering Drawings, DXF Cutting profiles, Packaging Detail etc.
Source Fittings, Trimmings and other finishing detail.
Collaborate with factory staff in order to produce a high quality product within designated time frames.
Fine tuning design around cost aspects and ease of manufacture.
Work closely with Factory to improve processes

Qualifications

• Industrial Design or Interior Design Qualification

Skills

• Solid Works
• +- 5 years experience in Shop fitting
