Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

• Cost control
• Working with contracts and sub-contracts
• Construction progress schedules
• Feasibility and cost planning
• Cost checking design solutions
• Preparing pre tender estimates
• Preparing contract documentation
• Tender analysis and reporting
• Measurement and preparation of bills of quantities
• Due diligence assessment of projects
• Prepare and agree post contract variations
• Pre and post contract cost management
• Attend design team meetings
• Preparing cash flow schedules
• Prepare and agree Professional Fees
• Verifying market rates for cost data
• Financial tracking of live project
• Claim progression and assessment

Qualifications

• BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying
• Must be registered as a Professional  Quantity Surveyor with the SACQSP

Skills

• Minimum of 8 years'' experience, preferably on Commercial projects
