PUM 17928 - Design / Estimator – Roofing (Randburg)

The Design Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for roofing projects, interpreting architectural and structural drawings, and contributing to tender submissions

Duties:

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates
• Compile and submit detailed quotations and tender documentation
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
• Conduct site visits where required to assess project scope
• Ensure estimates align with project specifications and company standards
• Assist with value engineering and cost-saving proposals
• Maintain updated pricing databases and supplier records
• Collaborate with project managers and the design team to ensure smooth project handover
