SUMMARY:
Our client an upmarket housing estate in the ballito is looking for a Project Supervisor from a construction background to join their team on a 6 month fixe term contract.
POSITION INFO:
Reporting into the Technical Manager the successful candidate will be required take accountability for all construction work in relation to new projects as directed by Estate. This includes but is not limited to, on site management of contractors, health and safety management, site observations and recommendations, adherence to departmental processes, reporting and company policies.
Duties and responsibilities
• Conducting daily site visits of all Projects undertaken by the Estate.
• Ensuring each site visit is recorded in a daily diary.
• Preparation BoQ for minor Projects.
• Utilising construction drawings to inspect works.
• Record keeping of observations of each project at various stages.
• Timeous reporting of deviations to the Technical Manager.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Weekly reports.
• Ensuring projects are completed within the stipulated timelines.
• Any adhoc duties in line with the job Requirements.
• Matric & valid driver’s licence.

• Knowledge of Construction Industry Practices.
• Civil works knowledge and experience being advantageous Other Skills.
