PROJECT AND SITE MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION

SUMMARY:
To oversee the site construction and ensure that the road construction projects adheres to the laid down specifications

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Evaluate preconstruction conditions
• Observe project sites and evaluate contractors’ work
• Manage site and laboratory personnel
• Ensure tests are performed according to laid down laboratory specifications
• Ensure that project construction conforms to design specifications and applicable codes
• Create daily reports
• Ensure all of the company''''s procedures are implemented and adhered to
• Troubleshoot any problems
• Respond quickly to problems
• Advise customers on the equipment and / or procedures
• Make recommendations to customers

 

Qualifications and requirements:

ND Civil Engineering

Project qualification desired

5 years field experience plus project management experience

Previous people management experience

Driver’s licence

SA Citizen

Good communication skills

 

Remuneration:

R30000 CTC
