PRODUCTION FOREMAN - Moorreesburg – NEGOTIABLE

Production Plant, in the building materials space, seeks a Production Foreman to be responsible for a production team. Min, Grade 12, Diploma or Degree in Production / Operations / Engineering will be advantageous and 4-5 years relevant experience in a machine/manufacturing environment of which at least 2 years must be in a supervisory role and a valid Driver’s Licence.  You will need to be in good physical shape and reside within 40 km radius of Moorreesburg or be willing to relocate there. You will plan, oversee and schedule production operations, train, schedule and supervise work of production personnel, control & report product quality parameters, control product & production processes, maintain people, plant, machinery and equipment to improve efficiencies, control raw material stock levels, ensure safety, health & hygiene, lead and manage team and provide support and services to Production Manager. You will need a working knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines, production priorities and problems, good verbal and written communications skills (Afrikaans and English), have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, good problem solving and organisational skills and be computer literate. English and Afrikaans and own car.
