SUMMARY:
To maintain process equipment with an emphasis on grinding and milling equipment

POSITION INFO:

Requirements and experience:

• Recognised Millwright trade qualification,
• Minimum of an N5 with Fluid Mechanics
• Minimum 4 years’ production experience in a process plant.
• Minimum 2 years’ maintenance experience in a process plant.
• Vertical roller milling experience will be an advantage.
• Code 08 driver’s license.
• Ability to satisfy the requirements of the medical examination
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental and/or Statutory regulations will be an advantage.
• Knowledge and ability to perform MV (up to 11KV) switching after certification.
• Working knowledge of ABB (or equivalent) PLC systems

Duties:

• Operating the grinding process in accordance with company operating guidelines and practices.
• Participating in and contributing to process optimisation.
• Participating in the execution of cost-saving initiatives, production rate, process trials and improvement programmes.
• First line maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, and ability to perform SAP maintenance functions.
• Optimal utilization of plant equipment and managing the control room facility.
• Coordinating team-based root cause failure analysis discussions after breakdowns.
• Willing to work shifts.
