Reporting to the General Manager: Print Production, the Pre-Press Manager will be responsible for administration and implementation of all Digital initiatives.

Planning, implementing and managing daily operations:
- Setting up print files with required bleeds, colour adjustments and schemes according to substrates sizes.
- Knowledge of setting up print files along with the accompanying cut files for digital plotting machines.
- Knowledge of cardboard ''point of sale’ display systems.
- Ability to work under pressure within a team environment a must.
- Editing and retouching of colour prints to match supplied Epsons
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve (creatively if required) any printing snags or issues which typically arise in a fast paced printing environment.
- Proof checking, proof reading the digital work conducted by the department before printing.
- Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Managing the Digital/Pre-press department.
Report writing:
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Present production reports to board members.

Essential and Mandatory Requirements
|
- Matric.
- Qualification in Print Production Management or related field.
- Min. 5 years working experience as a Pre-press Manager.
- Qualified DTP/pre-press operator with a minimum of five years'' DTP/repro experience gained within a print manufacture - large format digital printing/similar print environment
- Fine Art experience
- Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- At least 7 – 10 years’ experience in the Print/Digital Field.
- Experience working with various Print Information Systems.
- Able to work independently.
- Advanced Excel.
