POSITION: INTERNAL SALES ESTIMATOR

POSITION INFO:

POSITION: INTERNAL SALES ADMINISTRATOR / ESTIMATOR 

Area: Wadeville

Salary: R18 000 – R22 000CTC

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS 

• Grade 12 or equivalent 
• Minimum 3 years Sales Administrative experience 
• Draughting Qualification 
• B-Tech Electrical Engineering (advantageous) 
• Electrical Background – HV-LV-MV (essential) 
• Technical background in the Electronics / Electrical Field 
• Production knowledge 
• Technical background with Engineering Drawings (Electrical) 
• Technical background in the Electronics / Electrical field (advantageous)
• Knowledge and understanding of Flameproof & Non-Flameproof panels (Advantage) 
• Analytic and systematic 
• Knowledge of sales figures in order to determine mark-up, GP, cost etc. 
• Computer literacy - MS Office and SYSPRO knowledge and experience (essential) 
• Knowledge of export / import function / shipping export / import 
• Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and perform duties with minimal supervision 
• Ability to communicate, understand, read and write English (essential) 
• Must be punctual (essential) 

DUTIES

Main duties will include, but not limited to the following operations 

• Customer liaison in order to determine customer needs 
• Liaison with Product Managers, Technicians, Procurement, Stores and Buying Department 
• Assist Sales team leaders / reps where applicable 
• Estimation as required 
• Processing of sales transactions on SYSPRO for quotations, order acknowledgements, requisitions and dispatch notes 
• Expediting / maintenance of backorders 
• SYSPRO reports, review / follow-up and maintain data 
• Completion of relevant documentation, import and clearing instructions 
• Completing export shipping documentation / export returns 
• Arrange export collections with shipping agents 
• Compile and maintain Excel and Word documentation
