Industrial Automation and/or Control Programmers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Skills & Responsibilities
  • Exposure in food and beverage packaging environment.
  • Computer literate (Office package).
  • Management, Fault finding and reading of Electrical Schematics.
  • Circuit designing for control Panels.
  • Development of electrical schematics on E-Plan.
  • Fully Competent with 5+ years’ experience on Siemens Simatic Software Development and TIA (Siemens S7/300/1200/1500,ext PLC’s).
  • In depth knowledge of Siemens PLC programming capability.
  • HMI Development on WinCC and TIA, other platforms will act to your advantage.
  • Set up VSDrives, Danfoss, Allen Bradley, SEW, ext.
  • Set up of Communication protocols, ex. Profibus, Profinet, ASI, Canbus, Device Net, IOLink ext.
  • Project Planning, managing projects and compiling a project plan with Microsoft Projects.
  • Hands on with projects - Design, Develop, Installation, Training and Commissioning.
  • Participate fully in the Labour Management Scheme completing timesheets and job dockets and providing all relevant information.
  • Follow up on orders and deliveries.
  • Cost control and job costing on projects.
  • Good communication skills at all levels (verbal and written).
  • Duties will include but are not limited.
  • Experience in SOLDWORKS, AUTOCAD ext.
