POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas

• Maintain all PLC Devices to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.
• Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant works instruction
• Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data.
• Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are always adhered to
• Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement
• Ensure that all PLC backups are done according to the company procedures.

• Programming Techniques
• Fault finding and repair and maintenance, improvements on PLC sequences
• Manufacturing processes
• Basic understanding of Quality Systems
• Fault finding and maintenance of presses / Assembly equipment

Skills Required

• Read electronic drawings
• Problem Solving
• Communication

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required

• Grade 12
• Qualified Electrician / Millwright or Technical Diploma
• Min. 5 years’ experience as a PLC Technician within an automotive environment
• Extensive working knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens TIA V3- V15 , S7 300.Siemens Safety PLC programming
