A well-established company in Port Elizabeth has a new opportunity for a PLC Software Engineer in the Automation projects and software development space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:
The candidate will be required to use their expertise in both software (PLC and SCADA) and engineering (electrical, mechanical) to design, implement and commission Automation projects.
 
Education:
  • BEng in Mechatronics /Electronics
 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Ability to work shifts and move between project and support roles
  • Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC programming
  • C# programming
  • Robots, Electrical Design, Mech Design
  • Java, SQL server
  • Design, Installations, Commissioning, Support
  • SCADA, HMI, MES and Application development
  • Pre-Sales
  • Project management as required
