Exciting opportunity has become available for PLC Programmers to work abroad on long term projects in the USA.

 

Key Requirements;

• Minimum of 1 year PLC Programming experience
• Experience on Allen Bradley and Siemens machines will be an added advantage, but candidates that are skilled in other PLC brands will also be considered.
• US Visa is a MUST.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Program PLCs and HMIs in an automation environment
• Troubleshoot complex automation
• Coordinate with other disciplines to streamline delivery
• Validate system safeties function as designed

 

More about position;

• Initial one year contract, but the position can become more permanent as the contractor has been awarded work for the next 5 years.
• Projects are for large international Automotive Manufacturing plants and online e-commerce giant for their warehouse packaging lines.
• Rotations are very flexible but the programmer will generally work 3-6 months on and have 3–6 weeks off
• Rates are $50 – $60 dollar per hour depending on the project this person is assigned to and their general experience.
