POSITION INFO:

ROLES & RESPONSIBITIES

Our client is seeking a talented PHP Developer who also has Mobile experience who can contribute to their team and the development of the business.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced but casual environment with highly talented peers. You will be expected to actively engage with team members. Each member of our team is valuable and works hard. The role comprises two main functions (1) new software system builds and (2) maintenance of existing systems. Our client offers software solutions to a broad range of clients who require custom software solutions to grow and expand their businesses. The role offers opportunities to engage with clients building both soft and technical skills. They work in a diverse range of industries including retail, finance, logistics, real estate, sports, education, online platforms. The successful candidate will work in a broad range of industries, with access to stimulating and diverse project. You will need to collaborate with cross-functional development, design and UI teams to define, design, and ship new applications. It is essential to have an attitude that is conducive to learning and continuously improving and developing your skill set. You will be required to communicate with other internal functions in the organization, such as design and backend/frontend development teams.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory: PHP, Cordova, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JS, ES6+, MySQL, Linux, MSSQL/MySQL experience, serve and consume Web Services (SOAP, JSON, REST, XML), decent experience with Linux, Apache

Beneficial: Objective-C, Swift, React, Java , Ionic, Widgets App store submission experience, C#

CANDIDATE CONSIDERATIONS:

Must have a good understanding of written and verbal communication.

Must be able to work independently and be responsible enough to work without supervision.

Must be a self-starter.

Ability to work in a self-driven, complex environment with multiple and changing priorities

Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables

Desired Experience & Qualification

EXPERIENCE: 3 – 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

LOCATION: Johannesburg.

EDUCATION: BSc/ B.E/B.TECH IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

SALARY : Experience Dependent.

START DATE: As soon as possible.

CONTRACT DURATION: Permanent Position
