SUMMARY:
PHARMACEUTICAL SALES CONSULTANT - CAPE TOWN

POSITION INFO:

My client is seeking a pharma Sales Consultant to cover the Cape Town Southern Suburbs region.

Strong pharmaceutical sales and detailing experience essential!

Relevant tertiary qualification in Science a distinct advantage or a Sales/Marketing qualification
Well established existing customer relationship is preferred
2-3 years strong direct sales & detailing experience
Dispensing doctor/retailing pharmacy and independent pharmacy & scripting doctors experience is essential.
Must be efficient in booking own hand sales from customers
Corporate pharmacy/ group, Chain pharmacy management
Wholesaler interaction and dealings is an advantage
Scheduled pharmaceutical product experience is essential

Territory:

Cape Town Southern Suburbs + country trips
Able to travel for a minmum 10 of days as country trips as per business requirements

KEY DUTIES:

Booking orders directly from Dispensing Doctors, Corporate & Independant pharmacies.
Engaging in a detailing session with all parties (Scripting/Dispensing Doctors and Pharmacists).
Ensure day-to-day flow of information of competitor activities and general company transactions via technology based tools supplied by the company.
Grow and develop new business thereby building up a solid customer base.
Manage the territory to achieve service level requirements in a cost efficient manner.
Maintaining monthly business expenditure within budget.
Be present at regional team meetings, cycle meetings and conferences.
Ability to build relationships with pharmacy staff including pharmacists
