Job Description:

Able to read & comprehend instructions for circuit assembly
Solder, inspect & package circuit boards
Perform SMT & PHT soldering of printed circuit boards
Operate machinery in PCB areas such as Wave solders & Solder fountains
Perform conformal coating processes
Ensure that boards & parts are in good working order
Assemble & mount parts onto printed circuit boards
Ensure that components fit correctly to avoid malfunctions
Keep track of component parts & complete boards
Perform activities like twisting, bending, trimming & stripping wire lead components
Inter colour-coded wires identified holes & secure wires
Install plastic insulating sleeves around wire leads
Shrink sleeves into place by using tools like heat guns
Crimp wire leads with hand tools & presses
Apply sealers to secure wires
Perform inspections using measuring devises to ensure quality
Identify components
Leadership, planning & meeting deadlines
Maintain plant & equipment
