PAYROLL SUPERVISOR

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Relevant diploma/degree and or qualification OR
2. Min of 3-5 years previous experience in similar role of payroll administrator/supervisor
3. Computer literate
4. Experience working with Payroll - Psiber
5. Proven working experience with “System – Sage 300 People / VIP”
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

 

Key Performance Areas including but not limited to:

1. Audit of Monthly processed payrolls
   1. Northern Southern & Eastern Region
   2. Processing Monthly Wage and Salaries payrolls
      1. Expats & UA Secondment Payroll
      2. Management payrolls All countries
      3. Standby for Payroll Manager
      4. Payroll Journals: 
         1. Review and Validate Import of all payroll income cost to CS3
         2. Review Payroll administrator’s payroll recons
         3. Import of payroll recon journals for Bonus provisions and Leave liability
         4. Processing of any other payroll journals
         5. Payroll recons:
            1. Processing of Bonus and Leave liability recon
            2. Leave absenteeism recons
            3. Review payroll Recharge Journals
            4. Assist with Balance sheet recon on payroll control accounts
            5. Annual PAYE & Tax certificate recon for submission to various tax authorities
            6. Other payroll duties
               1. Assist HR with updating employee records on Psiber
               2. Assist HR with interviews and reference checks
               3. HR benefits – Medical aid and Provident Fund application and withdrawals
               4. Assist with check of employee data correctness on the setup of new payrolls in Psiber / Sage300People
               5. Support and assist payroll administrators in the absence of Payroll Supervisor
